Peramin® SRA
Peramin SRA shrinkage reducers - Imerys
Peramin SRA range of shrinkage reducers for mortar and concrete represents an industry standard for the controlling of dimensional variations of cementitious binder systems in demanding applications such as self-leveling flooring compounds, screeds and technical mortars.
Shrinkage is defined here in the context of the volume reduction of the mortar or concrete during the drying and setting stages of hydration. Excessive shrinkage of specialty binders with resulting cracks and curing appearance are the most severe problems in the field of cement-based construction materials. The resulting cracks have negative influences on the job-site quality with regards to issues such as appearance, product usability, adhesion and durability.
Peramin SRA provides users with the means to significantly reduce both plastic and drying shrinkage in drymix mortars and prevent curling. Peramin SRA is fully compatible with Peramin® SMF, CONPAC, DEFOAM and AXL additives.
There are five main products in the Peramin SRA range.
Peramin® SRA 10 is the reference product for shrinkage reduction, in powder form and for all types of applications.
Peramin® SRA 40 is a powder based shrinkage reducer that offers the best cost-performance ratio for all types of applications.
Peramin® SRA 110 is a liquid shrinkage reducer with low hydroxyl content.
Peramin® SRA 330 is a liquid shrinkage reducer with medium hydroxyl content.
Peramin® SRA 440 is a liquid shrinkage reducer with high hydroxyl content.
Peramin SRA range can also be used in combination or association with Peramin SMF, CONPAC, DEFOAM and AXL additives.
