Grouts & anchors

When it comes to non-shrink grouts, the role played by calcium aluminate technology is an important one. When hardened, grouts, as high-strength mortars, need to produce a volume that is greater or equal to the originally installed volume.

Grouts tend to fall into two categories. Precision grouts are used for grouting and bedding steel base plates and machinery or underpinning foundations. Anchoring grouts are used to anchor bolts, rods, sockets, for adding or replacing embedded or external reinforcing bars, adding reinforcement anchored in pre-formed or drilled holes.

Our TERNAL® range of Aluminates technology, supplemented by our Peramin® range of functional additives, has been especially developed to meet the exacting needs of building chemistry formulators in terms of consistency, color and reactivity, in turn allowing for earlier reopening to traffic, shorter turnaround time for works and improved productivity of the construction process.
