Naturally absorbent minerals to boost your cosmetics 

Our completely natural minerals provide superior absorption and/or matting in cosmetics such as deodorants, face masks, face creams, powders and foundations.

Kaolin is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate. Careful processing of kaolin results in soft, fine particles that confer excellent sebum absorption and mattifying properties. Used in face masks, our ImerCare^® K kaolins have a purifying and detoxifying effect on the skin, removing impurities.

ImerCare K kaolins are also excellent sebum and impurities absorption agents in liquid and powder foundations, and make-up bases, moisturizers, mattifying day creams for oily skins, anti-acne creams and both CC and BB creams.

We particularly recommend:

• ImerCare^® Matte kaolin for a natural matte effect in day creams, liquid foundations and pressed powders
• Imercare^® Opaque to add a boost of oil absorption and fine exfoliation to face masks
• ImerCare^® 2K kaolin, Imercare 06KS and ImerCare 04K kaolin for face masks

Diatomaceous earth is another natural mineral with a high surface area and micro-porous structure.

ImerCare^® D grades of diatomaceous earth demonstrate excellent absorption in face masks and face creams. We particularly recommend ImerCare^® 06D grades and ImerCare^® 400D grades to decrease drying time in facemasks. 

With its fine particle size and high absorption, Imercare^® 06D can be utilized in cream-to-powder cosmetics to tailor drying effect and sensorial properties.

ImerCare 400D is an excellent solution for mattifying lipsticks, where it is an effective alternative to synthetic materials. 

ImerCare 400D is also ideal for sweat absorption in deodorants and antiperspirants, due to the exceedingly high surface area of its mineral particles which make it the most water- and oil-absorbent diatomaceous earth product available on the market today.

All our cosmetic products are natural, high quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. They are not treated with chemicals during processing. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009. ImerCare^® kaolin and diatomaceous earth cosmetics grades are also Cosmos approved – certificates of origin and additional documentation are available upon request.
