Our range of kaolin grades for cosmetics
We offer a wide portfolio of 100% natural kaolin grades for cosmetics markets. The ImerCare kaolin range has been specifically designed as a texturizing agent and mattifying agent, and where superior sebum and impurities absorption are required.
Our ImerCare kaolin range comprises a variety of specialty products:
- ImerCare® Opaque: for a rich, creamy opacifying effect in gels
- ImerCare® Matte: for a natural matte effect in gels, creams, liquid foundations and pressed powders
- ImerCare® Kaobright 1149 USP for US: a natural alternative to abrasive silica for toothpastes
- ImerCare® 02K-S:
- For adhesion and oil retention in lipstick
- Lowering TiO2 usage in color cosmetics
- ImerCare® 2K:
- For sebum and impurities absorption in facemasks
- For improved sensorial properties in baby powders
- ImerCare® 04K:
- For superior sebum and impurities absorption in facemasks, make-up bases and CC creams
- For improving adhesion in pressed and loose powders
- For matting hairstyling waxes

- Imercare® 06KS:

- Kaopolite Kaolin KR USP: for sebum and impurities in products that fall under the FDA including treatment creams, masks, sunscreen, poison ivy treatments and acne products
All our cosmetic products are natural, high quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. They are not treated with chemicals during processing. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009.
All ImerCare kaolin grades, with the exception of ImerCare 02K-S grade, are Cosmos approved. Certificates of origin and additional documentation are available upon request.
Kaopolite Kaolin KR USP is certified to meet the Kaolin Monograph and manufactured under c-GMP and meets all standards for a FDA regulated product.
