Exceptional absorbency with odour control
- High absorbency
- Body odour control
- Nude skin sensation
ImerCare 400D diatomaceous earth is the most water- and oil-absorbent product available on the market today, making it a highly effective absorption agent in deodorants and antiperspirants, and used in applications including skincare, make-up and personal hygiene.
This exceptional absorbency power is due to the exceedingly high surface area of the mineral particles, a result of the unique morphology of our deposits from which this specific diatomaceous earth product is mined.
In tests, micro-porous ImerCare 400D diatomaceous earth:
- Demonstrates high perspiration absorbency for body odour control
- Controls body odour
- Dries quickly leaving a nude skin sensation
- Gives a pleasant soft touch feel
All our cosmetic products are natural, high-quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. They are not treated with chemicals during processing. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009.
ImerCare 400 D is also Cosmos approved. Certificates of origin and additional documentation are available upon request.
Imercare 400D: an Imerys Pioneer product
Providing an answer to the growing demand for aluminum-salts free alternatives for deodorants that enable natural formulations that respect skin, Imercare 400D is listed among our certified Pioneer products, meaning it represents the highest social and environmental contribution to the downstream value chain, while also demonstrating a low environmental impact in its production phase, compared to its economic value. Pioneer product status is our highest rating for products and services with an outstanding sustainability performance compared to the reference on the market.
In the pursuit of healthy white teeth, Imerys has found that toothpaste that combines kaolin and delicately engineered perlite provides highly effective dental care and meets consumers’ preference for natural ingredients.
The mineral perlite is an effective replacement for microbeads in scrubs and shower gels – not only for its exfoliating performance, but for reducing plastic pollution in oceans.
