ImerCare® 400D
ImerCare® 400D (INCI: diatomaceous earth) is the most water- and oil-absorbent product available on the market today, making it a highly effective mattifying agent in lip make-up applications and absorption agent in deodorants and antiperspirants.
This exceptional absorbency power is due to the exceedingly high surface area of the mineral particles, a result of the unique morphology of our deposits from which this specific diatomaceous earth product is mined.
High oil absorption capacity and excellent mattifying effect in lipsticks
ImerCare® 400D has been developed as a natural mattifying solution for lipsticks. Thanks to its very high oil absorption it is an effective alternative to synthetic materials.
In panel tests, ImerCare® 400D provides:

- Stick strength - even at high temperatures
ImerCare® 400D controls body odor in deodorants & antiperspirants
Due to its microporous structure, diatomaceous earth offers high absorbency power for personal care products such as deodorants and antiperspirants.
In tests, micro-porous ImerCare® 400D diatomaceous earth:
- Demonstrates high perspiration absorbency for body odor control
- Controls body odor
- Dries quickly leaving a nude skin sensation
- Gives a pleasant soft touch feel
All our cosmetic products are natural, high-quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. They are not treated with chemicals during processing. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n°1223/2009.
