Supreme is a premium kaolin that gives multiple benefits in decorative matt wall paints, where it acts as an opacifying extender and a rheology modifier. Supreme kaolin allows you to cut down the amount of titanium dioxide in your mix, reducing costs. 

With Supreme kaolin, you can reduce TiO₂ levels by up to 15% without compromising on the quality of your final product. Supreme kaolin is made from very high quality kaolin deposits found in our mines in Cornwall, in the UK. It is specifically engineered to an ultrafine particle size (0.4µm) to give optimal spacing of titanium dioxide particles, allowing you to reduce TiO₂ loads without losing opacity. 

In addition, Supreme kaolin adds rheological properties to paint, creating a low shear thickening effect that enables formulators to reduce their use of thickeners, lowering costs further. The gel strength formation also improves the settling and sag resistance.

Supreme is particularly beneficial in high quality matt paint formulations and in high gel strength paints.
