ImerCare MicaSilk is as soft as talc!
Produced through an innovative production process, ImerCare® MicaSilk has an optimized particle structure which confers a ‘talc-like’ soft and creamy texture to pressed and loose make-up powders, coupled with a subtle combination of transparency and smoothness.
Due to its high lamellarity index, ImerCare® MicaSilk demonstrates excellent cohesion in pressed powders. Its high oil absorption capacity provides a long-lasting matte effect.
ImerCare® MicaSilk can be used at incorporation rates of up to 85%. It is an ideal solution for pressed powder, loose powder, eye-shadow and blush.
ImerCare® MicaSilk performance confirmed by external panel tests
In panel tests comparing ImerCare® MicaSilk and talc in a pressed powder formulation, ImerCare MicaSilk demonstrated very similar performance to talc in terms of softness, cohesion, adhesion, transparency and matte effect.

ImerCare® MicaSilk is 100% natural mica sourced from Imerys’ Ploemeur operation in Brittany, France. It meets current market demand for sustainably sourced, natural mineral-based cosmetics.
All our cosmetics products are natural, high quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. These attributes enable them to be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009.
