ImerPure® B

A volcanic clay with powerful adsorbent properties
Bentonite is a clay rock of volcanic origin. Composed of aluminum phyllosilicates and montmorillonite, it is highly absorbent. When dispersed in powder form in an aqueous medium, this clay mineral easily forms a stable colloidal suspension. Thanks to its high specific surface area and cationic exchange capacity, it has remarkable adsorbent properties.
How ImerPure B enhances flotation, filtration & sedimentation efficiency
Our ImerPure B solutions are capable of adsorbing microparticles and colloidal and molecular contaminants present in wastewater, industrial process water and sludge. When combined with suitable polymers, they act as effective flotation agents. ImerPure B demonstrates excellent synergy with all coagulants and flocculants, such as anionic and cationic polyacrylamides. Impurities can be separated very easily by flotation, filtration or sedimentation.
Solutions of natural mineral origin
Our ImerPure B grades are solutions made from inorganic materials free from toxic or volatile organic compounds.
