Celite grades are made from diatomaceous earth, a silica mineral derived from the fossilized remains of microscopic single cell aquatic plants. Due to their combination of physical properties and high brightness, Celite grades make excellent natural matting agents and can boost scrub resistance, increase breathability and improve touch-up control.
Flux-calcined Celite grades are ideal for use in:
- Water-based decorative paints
- Solvent-based decorative paints
- Traffic markings
- Masonry paints
