Our engineered minerals offer a broad array of benefits to PVC plastisols, ranging from rheology modification to multi-substrate adhesion and stone-chipping resistance. Certain grades can also be used at maximum filler loading, considerably reducing formulation costs.
- PolCarb™ calcium carbonates are cost-effective uncoated GCCs that can be used at high loading
- Socal® & Winnofil® precipitated calcium carbonates are well-established PCCs which give the right rheological profile in PVC plastisols
Used with liquid-applied sound dampers, our calcium carbonates solve hydrophobicity issues and improve rheological profile. Imerys micas and wollastonites can also be used to improve loss factor and mud-cracking.
