Our material solutions are engineering the future, bringing innovative solutions to Advanced Ceramics applications such as Performance tools, sensors & energy converters, membranes & foam filters to thermal & electrical insulation and thermal spray coatings.
Our materials, based on Zirconia, Alumina, Silica and other minerals, are supplied as powders; grains, ready-to-press, ready-to-spay, salt or natural.
At Ceramitec, we were proud to present our extensive expertise in Advanced Ceramics and Refractories through all the different applications capabilities of our brands Alodur®, Teco-Sil®, Teco-Sphere® and Zionic®.
Traditional Ceramics
We supply engineered minerals, ready-made solutions, bodies, glazes, engobes and kiln furniture to serve the full spectrum of conventional ceramics applications. In recent years, sustainability has been the principal driver behind a number of our latest innovations for traditional ceramics and kiln furniture.
At Ceramitec, were showcased, amongst others:
- ShrinkSan® our reusable kiln furniture system which considerably reduces waste in sanitaryware production and enables our sanitaryware customers to reduce the carbon footprint of toilet production by 6%
- Our low-carbon solutions for wall tiles which enable manufacturers to substitute calcium carbonates to speed up production and reduce degassing
- Our engineered minerals for large-format tile and slab production, which allow manufacturers to optimize resources and reduce energy consumption.
Abrasives
We are the world’s largest producer of fused aluminum oxide-based products as well as world leader of fused minerals for abrasives, providing high-performance solutions for vitrified, resin-bonded and coated abrasives for all grinding, machining, blasting and cutting applications.
For this new edition of Ceramitec, we highlighted our key brand ALODUR®, an aluminum oxide which is the most trusted name in pure, high-performance fused aluminum oxides and includes a wide range of products designed to address customers needs.
