High-loading extenders that don’t impact mechanical properties

Fine ground carbonates are used in rubber applications as high loading extenders, rheology improvers and processability enhancers.

Our ImerCarb and PolCarb ranges are both ideal fine ground calcium carbonates (GCC) that can be used as high loading extenders in rubber without impacting mechanical properties:

• Our ImerCarb range of ground calcium carbonates is manufactured from high-quality crystalline marble at our Belgian and Italian processing facilities.
• The Imerys PolCarb range of ground calcium carbonates is produced from our high-quality chalk deposits in both the UK and France.

The PolCarb and ImerCarb ranges are available in both uncoated and surface treated grades. Surface treatment reduces moisture pickup and improves dispersion in polymer systems.
