Philippe joined Imerys in 1996 after starting his career in Occidental Industries as a commercial engineer in Europe and in Asia. In Imerys, he was initially a Technical Sales Engineer and then Commercial Director of various activities within the refractories business. In 2010, he was appointed Commercial Director of the ceramics business and in 2014 became Vice President & General Manager of the business. Since 2017, Philippe has also supervised the company’s kaolin activity in the UK. He was appointed Senior Vice President Refractory, Abrasives & Construction in November 2018.
