Mechanical properties for adhesives, caulks & sealants

Our minerals can increase the mechanical properties of adhesives, improving elongation, tensile, tear and flexion strength.

Stronger, for longer

Engineered minerals can significantly enhance the performance of adhesives, improving elongation, tensile, tear and flexion strength. Calcium carbonates are cost-effective solutions for improving mechanical properties and they can be used at filler levels of up to 60%, saving you money in formulations.

Wollastonite is another highly effective reinforcement additive, delivering improved tensile, tear and dimensional strength, higher peel and lap shear adhesion and enhanced cohesion strength. For structural, high-temperature, pressure-sensitive, hot melt, plastisol and thermally/UV curable adhesives and sealants, try Aspect or super-fine Nyglos wollastonites.

They’re simple, natural ways to enhance your adhesives’ mechanical properties.
