We are looking for an experienced & highly analytical Financial Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial controlling and reporting, budgeting, cost analysis and process control in order to ensure compliance with internal & external regulations. The position is reporting to the Business Controlling Director and has a strong collaboration with the Milos Hub Operations Director.
Role responsibilities:
Lead monthly financial reporting, including sales, margin, and working capital analyses, managing variances
Prepare and present annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the hub
Support Milos Hub Director and industrial management team on business matters, analyzing costs, identifying risks, and proposing performance improvement opportunities.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis, including profitability assessments and "what if" scenarios, in collaboration with product, sales and operations managers.
Track and report on operational performance, including CAPEX, OPEX, i-Cube initiatives, efficiencies, and purchasing savings programs.
Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and Reporting (CAR) for hub financial statements, standard cost set-up, and follow-up at different plant locations.
Maintain and improve energy, mining, production, and inventory reports, continuously enhancing the cost calculation process.
Monitor and propose performance improvements on inventory and accounts payables, supporting working capital management.
Review capital expenditure requests and contribute to the deployment of Group and Business Area initiatives and projects.
Proactively analyze costs and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities, while monitoring and communicating best practices in provision and future liability coverage

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
+5 years of professional experience in financial controlling sector
Fluent in English both oral & written
Knowledge of SAP, Magnitude and Google Sheets/Excel advanced skills
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to provide accurate, timely, and relevant data to support management decision-making
Positive attitude and a commitment to ensure that business operations are in compliance with company policies and best practices
Demonstrates strong attention to details, operational acumen, and a mindset for continuous improvement
Employs a practical approach, driving simple, standardized, and efficient processes
Able to make and recommend decisions quickly in a fast paced environment
Comfortable working with targets
Willing to travel for business purpose

In case the candidate is based in Athens, 2 weeks per month should be spent in Milos Hub
