Site Health & Safety ManagerJob Summary
[ Purpose & General Characteristics ]
Lead and manage all activities at multiple mining operations within a Business Unit or Division, ensuring safe, sustainable, efficient, and profitable operations.
[ Representative Activities ]
Be responsible for a number of mine sites at a consolidated level
Manage Mine Managers or Mine Team Leaders from each site
Hold direct budget responsibilities for the mine in the scope, where the mines are directly managed by Mine Team Leaders
Set strategic direction of mining process, develop continuous improvement initiatives and improve procedures
Promote and lead a culture of safety consciousness and environmental awareness.
Create and maintain a high performance culture through the optimization of people, processes, systems and technology
