The Learning & Development Officer will play an integral role in executing the organization’s global learning and development priorities. Reporting to the Group Talent Director and working closely with the L&D team, this position involves managing digital learning platforms, coordinating training initiatives across international teams, and supporting talent and performance management processes. The L&D officer will be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of training programs while aligning L&D initiatives with business objectives. Success in this role requires a proactive, solution-driven approach, high levels of engagement, problem-solving skills, and a focus on fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.  

Responsibilities 

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Oversee the central LMS, managing licenses, access permissions, hosting of learning resources, and integrating with other HRIS tools. Act as the first-level help desk for internal stakeholders.

Training Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate training initiatives by working closely with training providers, functional experts, and the L&D network to maximize impact and efficiency. Provide consultation to country and functional HR teams on pedagogical approaches and learning delivery methods, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.

Reporting: Collect and analyze training KPIs to generate actionable insights for informed decision-making. Continuously monitor training impact and learner engagement to enhance L&D offerings and ensure their ongoing effectiveness.

Annual Training Plan & Budget Management: Support the development of annual training priorities for the Group L&D function, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals. Cultivate and manage relationships with key training providers to facilitate smooth program delivery and ensure learner satisfaction. Monitor the annual training budget, collaborating with HR, Procurement, and external suppliers to ensure the effective allocation of resources. Administer training invoices and provide accurate financial reporting to the finance team.

Talent Management Support: Assist in global talent management initiatives, including the Organizational & People Review process, Performance Management, and Employee Listening  Surveys.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in learning or digital tools.

  • 5 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on learning and development within international organizations.

  • Proven expertise in managing LMS, digital learning platforms, and HRIS systems.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent command of English (working language); additional languages are a plus.
