Job Summary

Operative - Shelton New Road, Cliffe Vale Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 7AR

Salary: £28,296.01 (inclusive of Shift Allowance)


 

Working at our busy clay processing site, you’ll be working in a team of two, working with both fixed and mobile plant including forklift trucks, hoppers, mixers and other bespoke equipment. The more common activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing clay slurries using mixing processes

  • Operating milling machines

  • Carry out more advanced lab testing roles to cover lab technician when needed;

  • Loading/offloading trucks

  • General site housekeeping

This role is working on a shift pattern IML 72 Shift - 38.5 hours per week - Day shift over a 2 week period 07.00 - 19.00 (inc alternate weekend working), 11 hour day shifts

What we are looking for:

Our team are hardworking and fun loving so you’ll need to bring your motivation, drive and enthusiasm. In addition, you’ll:

  • Ideally have worked in a similar industrial environment

  • Possess Health, safety and environmental knowledge

  • Ideally have mobile plant licences / experience - however we can get you trained up

  • Have good numeracy, literacy and IT competence

  • Legally able to drive in the UK
