EHS Field Officer
Location: St Austell, Cornwall
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, M-F (between the hours of 7am and 4pm)
(Flexibility is required)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

The job role
Working within the Environmental, Health and Safety team, you will be part of the common objective of zero workplace accidents and incidents. In a collaborative way you will be supporting our hiring managers and colleagues to achieve this.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing EHS support for our business teams
- Travelling to sites within the St Austell area providing support and advice
- Providing general co-ordination of EHS matters at site and function levels
- Conducting workplace audits / inspections and communicate findings
- Supporting and advise upon compliance
- Administering and maintaining site reporting databases to ensure clarity and accuracy
- Assisting with, and delivering, training

- You will:
- Ideally come from an EHS working environment (within the UK); however if you do not have much workplace experience, but have the right EHS Qualifications, then we will be happy to consider your application and support your continued development.
The right candidate will:
- Be passionate about EHS and want to make a positive impact
- Have excellent communication skills and be a real people person
- Be legally able to drive in the UK
- Be proficient in the use of IT
- Work collaboratively within a team
- Be able to demonstrate competent and applied understanding of EHS Legislation
