Powerate™

Powerate solutions allow increased ash content in a base sheet while maintaining mechanical properties, making it possible to replace fibers.

Thanks to easier water removal, Powerate allows for faster dewatering and reduced energy consumption for drying, and thus potentially allows for increased machine speed (if dryer limited).

Powerate solutions remove contaminants from the papermaking process. This results in cleaner machines and fewer breaks, which in turn increases productivity and reduces the cost per tonne. It also potentially allows for the use of lower-quality fibers.
