In order to support the financial function, Imerys is looking for a

Manufacturing Cost Controller

Location: Bodio & Bironico, Switzerland

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of renewal

Main responsibilities:

Coordinate with the project team the implementation of the Controlling module during the migration from SAP 3R to SAP 4Hana.
Physical stock reconciliation with ERP
Perform plant production and inventory monthly reconciliation
Provide and review the monthly reports with site manager
Be able to underline and explain gap vs reference scenarios (bdg/forecast/PY)
Supporting the Hub controller during the budget/forecast activities
Oversee accounting ledgers and correct cost centers/ accounts
Determine accruals to be booked in ERP during the closing activities
Provide financial data (standard costs, production costs, savings, efficiencies etc) and ad hoc information when required
Calculate monthly energy consumptions & costs
Freight costs monthly reconciliation
Invoices receptions control & balance in ERP
Accountable for consistency of plants standards costs

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Master’s degree in accounting or finance is optional but beneficial
2-3 years of work experience as a Cost Analyst, Cost Accountan or Controller in industrial context.
Understand industrial processes and costing principles
Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computations
Fluent in English and Italian. The knowledge of another national language (French or German) is a plus.
Proficient in financial software as SAP 3R and/or SAP 4Hana, Office and Google suite package
Ability to handle complex financial information
Ability to create a strong bonds with other people, inspires trust and confidence in both his peers, senior, and external partners
Demonstrate good communication skills to convey information
Have a keen eye for details, ability to manage multi tasks / project and meet tight deadlines, is analytical and highly organized
Work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting, have a confident and outgoing personality,
