Job Summary
The purchasing process & tools team is looking for a Lead Buyer to support the ambitious roadmap of the Process & tools across the Imerys group. The position will be reporting to the Process & Tools Manager for Asia.
The Purchasing specialist / Lead Buyer will collaborate with the global purchasing teams and will have following key responsibilities:
Support E-RFQ (70%)
Work on simple and Complex E-RFQ in Ivalua for different categories.
Support internal stakeholders for requirement mapping, sending E-RFQ, TCO analysis and contract signature. (40%)
Act as a technical point of contact for complex E-RFQ
Spotbuy (10%)
Manage spotbuy requests for Goods & services. This will be specific support to different regions as per requirement.
Manage full Source-to-contract process for spotbuy which includes requirement mapping, sending E-RFQ, TCO analysis and contract signature. (30%).
Process improvement (20%)
Actively involved in initiatives by the purchasing team and work on process improvements.
Work on purchasing data collection, analysis and communications to internal stakeholders.
Education & Required Skills - To be fine tuned with H.R
Bachelor’s degree
MBA in Operations or Supply Chain management would be a plus.
4 to 6 years experience in Purchasing,
Source to contract global experience needed.
Negotiation skills
Communication skills
ERP and Purchasing platform knowledge Like SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa etc
Fluent in English (basic French is a +)
Mastery of Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheet, Google Doc, Google Slides,..) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Autonomy and proactivity
Multi-cultural environment experience
