The Position

Job Summary

Processing Operative – Forklift Truck Driver/Packing Operative

Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: £28,472 (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

Monday to Friday: 2pm – 10pm (permanent afternoons)

The job role:

Operate a Forklift in a safe manner to load products onto lorries from the warehouse
Use bagging equipment to fill large bags ready for dispatch
Use of other mobile plant equipment – front end loading shovels
Meeting production targets
Carry out site cleaning and promote good housekeeping practices
Follow health and safety guidelines

You will:

Hold Full and valid driving licence
Possess a Forklift licence for at least 12 months
Understand health and safety in the workplace
Have the willingness to learn and drive other mobile plant equipment (front end loading shovel)
Possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
