The Position

Quality & Control Labo

Job Summary

Responsibilities :

To carry out range of pigment testing in accordance with Imerys Approved Test Methods, Health & Safety and Quality procedures
Follow up and coordination of calibration and maintenance lab equipment
Follow up quality of mineral products in Antwerp (weekly testing)
Quality checks of trucks ( checking for cleanness )
To ensure adequate documentation and procedures for distribution of documentation within Imerys Quality and ISO policies
Procedure setup , preparation and follow up documentation for external ISO audit ( ISO certification or any other quality certifications )
Preparation and sending COA for our customers
Follow up and coordination of Valdo production and stocks
Follow up and coordination of Slurry production and stocks
Preparation and sending samples ( samples requests )
Back up for logistic coordinator ( Follow up and coordination with all documentation for rail and road)
Investigation of quality complaints
Creating sales order
Organizing transport

Competencies:

To be able to work with accuracy to imposed testing deadlines
Strong in administration and IT knowledge
Preferred: lab and process experience
Technical ability
Experience in the physical testing section or similar field
Team player and positive personality
Hands-on personality
Observation and knowledge of safe working practices and overall laboratory cleanliness

Qualifications:

Good languages skill: Dutch and English (any others is a plus)
Good communication skills
Word, Excel, ERP, Google Suite,..
1-2 year’s experience in laboratory work
Bachelor degree in chemistry
